Artistic Director Devon Carney has announced the choreographers who will be creating works for Kansas City Ballet’s New Moves program in March.
In the intimate setting of the Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity, audiences will experience contemporary works from local emerging talent including:
- Karen Brown
- Caroline Dahm
- Haley Kostas
- Maria Konrad
- Sophie Hod
- Gabriel Lorena
- Malerie Moore
“I truly enjoy helping emerging choreographers become more established.
New Moves is especially noteworthy in that each piece is a world premiere. Nothing is
repeated or restaged. It’s what makes it so beneficial. And each year, our audiences are
so enthusiastic and supportive of these new works. I look forward to presenting these
dynamic and engaging new works here in KC.”
