The upcoming City Center Dance Festival in New York features some of the most prominent dance companies in the city as well as globally: Ballet Hispánico, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Martha Graham Dance Company, and Paul Taylor Dance Company.
The three-week run of performances from March 24 – April 10 consists of various programs by these four renowned organizations celebrating their return to the iconic City Center.

Three diverse programs showcase Taylor classics including Airs, Roses, and the masterpiece Esplanade, alongside works by the next generation of dance makers—Larry Keigwin’s Rush Hour and Pentimento, a world premiere by the company’s recently named Resident Choreographer Lauren Lovette.

The company presents Chronicle, a 1936 response to the global rise of fascism; CAVE, a world premiere from Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter featuring guest star Daniil Simkin; and a new version of the 1952 mystery play Canticle for Innocent Comedians, reimagined by Tony winner Sonya Tayeh with eight other choreographers. Finally, Appalachian Spring and Ritual to the Sun from Acts of Light will dazzle audiences once again.
