Entering its eleventh year and marking the near-end of Artistic Director Li Cunxin’s time at the helm of the company, Queensland Ballet’s The Nutcracker opens in just a couple of days at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Thirty-six children join the main company in dancing Ben Stevenson’s choreography telling the story of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince as they journey across the Lemonade Sea to the Kingdom of Sweets.
