Young Dancers Academy, a renowned institution for vocational dance education, will officially take on a new name and identity on September 11th – London Vocational Ballet School (LVBS).

Aside from emphasizing the premium London location of the school, adding the word “vocational” to the name conveys the institution’s mission to empower and prepare students for whatever they may encounter in their future endeavors.
When asked to expand on what this means in relation to the dance industry, McCaig explains further:
YDA is Becoming: London Vocational Ballet School
The rebranding effort includes a new visual identity; the school has thoughtfully selected a new logo, colors, and design elements – a declaration of LVBS’ innovation, unity, and professionalism, all which reflect the energy of its studios and learning environments.
In fact, come September, London Vocational Ballet School will have doubled the size of their premises, adding new equipment and well-spring floors to their new studios, well-prepared to teach their newly-designed curriculum.
Kelly Richardson, Chair of the Board of Directors adds:
“Over the years, we’ve been so proud of Young Dancers Academy and its achievements. Its heritage is so important but it feels like the right time for the school to move towards a bigger, brighter future.
Our new school name and branding is reflective of our ambitions as a school and as a charity and I can’t wait to see things flourish as we take our next steps.”
These next steps include collaborative learning opportunities with other vocational schools as well as encompassing more of the arts sector as a whole with an emphasis on community involvement and accessibility.
Throughout the year, several events and activities are planned for the students, parents, faculty, and community to coincide with the transition from Young Dancers Academy to London Vocational Ballet School.
