Hamburg Ballet 2026-2027 Season

“Just as diverse as you, our wonderful audience, are in your tastes and preferences, so too is our aim to offer you a comprehensive and, above all, multifaceted repertoire that touches the heart, mind, and soul.
With the 2026/27 season, we will present ballets from our rich collection of works by John Neumeier, as well as pieces by other world-renowned choreographers.
In keeping with our principle of fostering our own dance talent, we will also present several new pieces choreographed by talented artists who have emerged from the Hamburg Ballet ensemble.
With these ballet evenings, we continue the development of both our repertoire and the ensemble. Our identity is rooted in our rich choreographic heritage on the one hand, and on the other, in the new paths being forged by the next generation of artists – the passing on of the passion and a future-oriented creative vision are not mutually exclusive, but rather mutually enriching.
From this fertile ground, diverse ballets emerge, which our ensemble brings to life on the stage of the Hamburg State Opera with its incredible ability to create a unique emotional experience every single night.”
