The Colorado Ballet 2024-2025 season at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House feature classical full-lengths such as The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker, dramatic and humorous story ballets, and some of the 20th century’s most famous dance creations.

“I am thrilled to announce the five productions planned for Colorado Ballet’s 2024/2025 Season at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

Our current season has been a tremendous success—Colorado Ballet experienced its most successful productions of all time this season.

I look forward to sharing even more world-class ballet with our community next season, starting in the fall with The Sleeping Beauty.”

Gil Boggs, Artistic Director of Colorado Ballet

Kenneth Tindall’s Casanova is a Rocky Mountain regional premiere and explores the decadent proclivities of the infamous, fabled romantic through bold choreography, iconic Venetian masquerades, and a passionate narrative set to the music of Kerry Muzzey.

Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland), set to Matthew Pierce’s score, is infused with humor, whimsy, and athleticism, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tale.

The season closes with the only mixed repertory program, “Ballet MasterWorks” and features:

  • Serenade by George Balanchine
  • Petite Mort by Jiří Kylián
  • In the Upper Room by Twyla Tharp
