Ballet Austin is preparing for their 62nd annual production of The Nutcracker to be held at The Long Center and accompanied by the Austin Symphony Orchestra playing Tchaikovsky’s magical score. Ballet Austin Academy students join the company on stage resulting in a 150-dancer cast dancing Artistic Director Stephen Mills’ choreography.

The mainstage performances are supplemented with several audience activities including Footlights, Behind the Ballet!, Pose & Post Photo Stations, and the Ballet Austin Guild Gift Barre whose proceeds go to supporting the organizations educational scholarship programs.
