A longtime Columbus favorite, former Artistic Director David Nixon’s Dracula returns to the Davidson Theatre at the end of October; the choreographer will also be back to coach the dancers in the ballet he created nearly a quarter of a century ago.
“It’s been clear to me already that Columbus loves our Dracula, and I could not be more thrilled for it to
be first on the docket during my first season with BalletMet,” said Remi Wörtmeyer, BalletMet’s new
artistic director.
Inspired by Bran Stoker’s gothic 1897 novel, Dracula tells the story of the title character and his victim, Mina, with whom he falls in love.
