◆ London City Ballet

It has been announced that London City Ballet will be opening the fall season at New York’s Joyce Theater this September, a significant acknowledgment of the impact of the company’s return after a 30-year hiatus.

“To be programmed by The Joyce is a dance company’s dream realised and I am grateful to Danni Gee, director of programming at The Joyce, and her team for believing in London City Ballet and its vision, at this inception stage.

By bringing British choreographers’ work to the fore, all as US premieres, I hope to capture the interest of The Joyce’s existing following and reach an audience who are new to our work. Aspiring to build a strong foundation between organisations, we will strive to deliver further compelling work from the UK.”

This marks the first time in its history that London City Ballet has performed in New York City.
