◆ May 14, 2022 – Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Swan Lake Review: A Classic Interpretation and a Shining Swan Queen

Kicking off 2024, and twenty years after its premiere, Pacific Northwest Ballet will perform Kent Stowell’s revised Swan Lake once again at Seattle’s Marion Oliver McCaw Hall from February 2nd through the 11th.

Audiences will hear Tchaikovsky’s iconic score played by the PNB Orchestra accompanying Odette/ Odile, Prince Siegfried, and the twenty-four swans who make up the corps de ballet as they dance the company’s previous Artistic Director’s version of this epitome of classical ballet donned in costumes designed by Paul Tazewell and on a stage adorned with scenic design by Ming Cho Lee.

As a complement to the shows, Pacific Northwest Ballet will also be offering opportunities for the public to gain deeper insight into Swan Lake with special events hosted by PNB Associate Artistic Director Kiyon Ross and dance historian Doug Fullington. Ross will partake in a one-night only conversation with the cast of Prince Siegfrieds, while Fullington will provide 30-minute introductions to the ballet before each performance.

Swan Lake will also stream digitally from February 15-19.
