The Queensland Ballet Academy Dancers from the Pre-Professional Program are getting ready for Aspire ’21, a showcase of their artistic and technical talents.
This year’s program features classical and neoclassical works including Tàtchev’s Matador Suite inspired by scenes from Don Quixote and the Academy’s Resident Choreographer Paul Boyd’s Intimate Dialogues which explores the many forms in which intimacy is expressed.
“Our Pre-Professional Program dancers are on the brink of entering into the profession of dance, so I have tried to create an atmosphere that allows them to feel safe to explore their artistic skills with guidance.
I hope the audience appreciates the aesthetics and detail of the choreography in Aspire ’21, and that they are swept away with emotion.” – Paul Boyd
