The Texas Ballet Theater 2023-2024 season, announced last night at a celebration event at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, will see the return of many fan favorites at the company’s home theaters in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas.
Three full-lengths, including the annual Nutcracker, is complemented by a mixed repertory program that ranges from a Rudolf Nureyev classic to a neoclassical work created on the company by Val Caniparoli in 2016.

Texas Ballet Theater 2023-2024 Season Schedule

Dracula | September 15-17 & October 6-8, 2023

Enter the terrifying domain of the legendary vampire whose insatiable bloodlust wrecks horror and destruction on his unwitting victims.

The Nutcracker | November 24 – December 3 & December 8-24, 2023
Winspear Opera House & Bass Performance Hall
- The Nutcracker by Ben Stevenson
Filled with lacy snowflakes and delectable sweets, The Nutcracker heralds the magic of the season with visions of enchantment and joy.

Brilliants | February 23-25 & March 1-3, 2024
Bass Performance Hall & Wyly Theatre
- Without Borders by Val Caniparoli
- Grand Pas Classique by Victor Gsovsky
- Le Corsaire pas de deux by Rudolf Nureyev
- Rubies by George Balanchine
Traverse the boundary between the neoclassical and contemporary in Without Borders, a compelling work that explores the powers of perspective and individualism.
Ballet in its purest form, Grand Pas Classique reveals the inherent tension between artistry and physicality.
Inspired by Lord Byron’s epic poem of an amorous pirate, Le Corsaire Pas de Deux smartly captures the jaunty bravado of the swaggering seaman.
A kaleidoscope of color and movement, Balanchine’s exhilarating Rubies sparkles as vividly as the jewel itself.

Beauty and the Beast | May 3-5 & May 17-19, 2024
Winspear Opera House & Bass Performance Hall
- Beauty and the Beast by Lew Christensen
Hearts will melt as a hideous beast and a young maiden discover that love transcends and ultimately transforms outward appearances in this much beloved fairy tale.
