Tulsa Ballet Performs Live at Studio K

One of the only companies in the United States who continued to do so in 2020, Tulsa Ballet performs live in Studio K once again in 2021.

As they did for their Creations Reimagined program last fall, the Signature Series will also be available for those around the world to stream from home. It is a triple-bill with world premieres by Andrew McNicol and Yury Yanowsky as well as the return of Jennifer Archibald’s PARHELIA.

Tulsa Ballet performs Vendetta at a later date

Disappointing to many, the pandemic has also caused the further (fifth) delay of Tulsa Ballet‘s performance of Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Vendetta, A Mafia Story.

“This decision wasn't taken lightly. But I believe it's the only reasonable one. The US premiere of Vendetta is a large scale production with an equally large cast of characters dancing on stage at the same. With social distancing protocols expected to remain in place for the next several months, Vendetta cannot be performed as it was intended. As always, the safety of our dancers, employees, and audience members continues to be our top priority.”

The positive is that Vendetta’s sets and costumes will stay in Tulsa for the next thirteen months, giving ample time to reschedule its premiere in the not too distant future.
