The BalletMet 2022-2023 season comes to close in just a few a weeks with the world premiere of Artistic Director Edwaard Liang’s Swan Lake.
The company hasn’t performed this epitome of classical ballet for ten years, and it is so fitting that it celebrates Liang’s decade of leadership with this grand production.
"It is so exciting to bring back Swan Lake with new choreography after 10 years, and it is incredibly special to
have so many dancers as part of this production. I have been working with them daily, and I am
very proud of the hard work and dedication I have seen across all our levels of dancers. At one point, there will
be 32 swans on stage together and it is an incredibly magical moment."
