Based on The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by E.T.A. Hoffman, Kansas City Ballet’s Nutcracker tells the story of young Clara’s adventures after receiving a special gift from Dr. Drosselmeier.
The Kansas City Symphony, conducted by Kansas City Ballet Music Director Ramona Pansegrau, will accompany the dancers with Tchaikovsky’s iconic score.
All performances of Kansas City Ballet’s Nutcracker will take place at the Muriel Kauffman Theatre at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
