Russian Masters Ballet Announces Winter and Summer Intensives

Russian Masters Ballet has announced their upcoming intensives to be held this winter in Madrid, Spain, and next summer in St. Petersburg, Russia, Alicante, Spain, and Burgas, Bulgaria.

The training organization offers online classes year round but then focuses on in-person learning from primarily Vaganova Academy licensed teachers during their intensive programs.

“Students take classes in Ballet, Repertoire, Character, Pas de Deux, Contemporary, Acting, Gymnastics, which are conducted by the best world renowned, highly qualified professionals. We carefully select our faculty members and pay special attention to this. We are proud to offer our students the unique opportunity to learn from incredible masters. Most of our teachers are current tutors at the prestigious Vaganova Academy and Eifman Academy, Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky and other theatres. Every year their graduates get a chance to continue their journey as ballet dancers in the leading ballet theatres. Our goal is to provide our students with the education of the highest quality from the best teachers”

  • Larissa Lezhnina, principal tutor at Dutch National Ballet, former soloist at Mariinsky and Dutch National Ballet, Vaganova Academy licensed teacher.
  • Anna Podlesnaya, RMB Faculty teacher, Vaganova Academy licensed teacher
  • Asiya Lukmanova, RMB director, Vaganova Academy licensed teacher
  • Olga Pavlova, RMB Faculty teacher, Bolshoi Academy licensed teacher
  • Eleonora Adeeva, former soloist of the St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre K. Tachkin, graduated from the Nureyev Choreographic School
  • Anton Valdbauer, choreographer, former soloist of Royal Swedish Ballet, contemporary dance teacher
  • Luisa María Arias, choreographic assistant to Nacho Duato

Russian Masters Ballet Summer Intensives

If they can’t make it to Europe this winter, students can choose to study Vaganova in Spain next summer in Alicante (July 7 – July 28), in St. Petersburg, Russia (June 30 – July 21), or in Burgas, Bulgaria (July 28 – August 18).

“Russian Masters Ballet is an exclusive highly professional intensive training in classical dance based on the original didactics of the Vaganova Academy. Our elite unprecedented teaching faculty, individual approach and thoroughly elaborated methodical program is what has put RMB at the forefront of dance training internationally.”

Along with the rest of the faculty, Russian Masters Ballet has confirmed special guests from Staatsballett Berlin – principal dancer Polina Semionova and conditioning trainer Mehmet Yümak.
