After a hiatus lat year, World Ballet Day 2025 returns on November 12, showcasing companies from around the globe as viewers get a sneak peek into the daily going-ons of ballet dancers in the studio and beyond. This year’s theme is “Access Becomes Art”.

Free live streams and pre-recorded material will be shared on more than three dozen ballet organization’s platforms. Headlining organizations include:

- The Royal Ballet
- San Francisco Ballet
World Ballet Day 2025: Access Becomes Art
Dutch National Ballet has already announced their highlight; DNB dancer Luca Abdel-Nour will choreograph a new work for wheelchair dancer Eli Bras and fellow company member Javier Cubero.
The Royal Ballet is featuring a six-minute world premiere set to music by Max Richter. Sir Wayne McGregor (Resident Choreographer of The Royal Ballet), Tiler Peck (Principal Dancer of New York City Ballet), Bim Malcomson, and Rebecca Myles Stewart (Royal Ballet Artist), will collaborate with blind artist Devon Healey “to explore how blindness can open new modes of perception and creativity in dance”.
